1. Can Geego be used in conjuction with non Geego systems or development programming?
Yes Geego was designed with merging with exisiting or non Geego development, please read the section on merging Geego.
2. Can I change a content data type from tm to tl and not loose the content already entered.
Yes, if you for example if you change from tm_Description to tl_Description the only real difference is that you get a bigger textarea for inputting. The publishing and display stays the same and content already entered is not lost.
3. Why is a ftp server a requirement for Geego?
Ftp is used to move uploaded files within geegos directories to avoid problems with users, groups and permissions.
Eg. If you upload content files from you dev machine to a live machine via ftp then everything is good to go in terms ownership and permissions when Geego needs to overwrite these files and directories with updated content.
